FAQs

Christian Women’s Leadership Center hopes that participants will finish each course. Once participants have paid for a course, we will make every effort to help them finish. Should a participant be unable to finish within the 4 weeks, we can extend the time for a few days. If a participant needs more time, we can reactivate the participant with the next group of cohorts at no additional cost.
It is possible to complete all nine courses in three months by taking three courses each month; however, most participants take one course at a time and can finish within a year.
Most participants take one course at a time. While participants may take up to three courses at a time (one from each of the three categories: Leadership Formation, Leadership Skills, and Leadership Foundations), we recommend that participants take the first course by itself. This allows participants to understand the amount of time required to complete a course.
None of the courses have pre-requisites. A participant may begin any course based on the course schedule.
No. While most textbooks can be bought at New Hope Publishers, a PDF file of the course textbook is embedded within each course. You will find this PDF file in the Introduction and Materials module as a resource.
A goal of Christian Women’s Leadership Center is for participants to connect with one another and to learn from one another throughout each course. We pace assignments so that participants will have talking points for discussions and forums. For this reason, participants start each course together with a group of cohorts who sign up at the same time. They work through assignments and get to know one another as they discuss course topics each week.
No. Participants can be online at any time of the day or night. Discussion boards and forums are open once the assignments are given but can be accessed at any time. We recommend that participants try to complete each week’s assignments within the week they are assigned in order for participants to pace themselves to complete the course on time; however, the schedule is flexible.
Each course is four weeks long. Most participants report that the courses takes between 3-5 hours per week. Usually, the first week takes a bit longer than the other three weeks. Some people complete the course faster and some take longer as they process the reading assignments. Each course is four weeks long.
